Today Inbox2, a social email application, is introducing God mode. God mode really means giving people the power to focus on the next most important item in their Inbox. The ultimate vision of our platform and products is to help people manage their busy lives. Today people have to manage several email and social network accounts in parallel overflowing with information. So where do you start? How do you prioritize? Where should you focus your attention? Which items should I attend to first? The answer is Inbox2 God mode. Inbox2 already collects all messages, document attachments, links and contacts from all of your existing email and social network accounts in one convenient place but now it uses social metrics and your interactions to determine what you should focus on next within your Inbox.
The God mode is really a button by pressing which a user allows Inbox2 to suggest the Inbox item he should look at next. People usually have several ways of navigating the Inbox for example looking at all the unread items or starred. These approaches don't cut it anymore especially because we have more than one Inbox to take care of and we are typically dealing with multiple profiles of the very same person dispersed among several services. Inbox2 empowers users because the application understands your relationship with people you communicate with and primarily uses that to determine what content is more important for you.
